Hi there, my name is Fayfay Xiao Ting, I'm an aspiring Portrait Artist based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Specializing in portrait painting, I have 6 years of experience in painting and drawing. My media are oil, acrylics, watercolour, charcoal, pencil/graphite, coloured pencil, Chinese ink, oil pastel, soft pastel and mixed media.

Art Commissions

I'm an affectionate artist. I love portraying love and happiness through my artworks. I love to connect with people and help express their stories through creating bespoke portrait paintings for them. To me, nothing can be more satisfying than my customers telling me how meaningful my paintings are to them and how much they love my paintings. For the past five years, I have received numerous requests for all kinds of art commissions from all over the world and the majority of them is family portrait painting in which love is the essence; I have also received requests from organizations to do quick live portrait drawing in public at various events. So you might wanna hire me for your exciting birthday parties/company annual events or you might wanna pre-order portrait drawings for all your guests 😉I could do live portrait drawings as well as portrait paintings from photos.   And also I loooove doing pets portrait so much. If you have adorable dogs and cats and you would like a portrait painting for them, chances are you are gonna get a good quote from me 😉  

Experience

Being self-taught, I have been exploring and practicing various art styles on my own since the day I made a career change. In 2013, I graduated with a BBA degree and got a job in the field I didn't really like. With much struggles, I finally took courage, left my job and decided to fully pursue my passion in art in early 2015. Today, I am slowly emerging as a portraiture and figurative artist in Malaysia.
